Agreement Overview
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“License Holder”, “you”) and Sentinel (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing, activating, or using Sentinel or any related services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not install, activate, or use the software.
Grant of License
Sentinel grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Sentinel under the following terms:
- One production website — Each license permits use on one (1) production domain.
- Unlimited development environments — You may use the same license on any number of local, staging, or development environments related directly to that same project.
- Single project only — You may not use a single license across multiple unrelated domains, client sites, or businesses.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
You are purchasing a license to use Sentinel — not the software itself.
All code, branding, features, documentation, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Sentinel. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership or grants any rights beyond what is explicitly stated.
Activation & Licensing
Sentinel uses activation-based licensing to verify and manage your subscription.
- A license becomes "Activated" once it has been successfully used on a domain.
- Each license includes one (1) activation slot by default.
- Attempting to circumvent, bypass, or manipulate activation limits is strictly prohibited.
- Licenses may be changed, revoked, or reset at our discretion in cases of abuse, fraud, or technical necessity.
Prohibited Actions
You must not, under any circumstances:
- Modify, alter, or create derivative works based on Sentinel
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code
- Share, resell, sublicense, or distribute Sentinel to third parties
- Share your license key with anyone outside your immediate team working on the licensed site
- Upload Sentinel to public repositories, file-sharing sites, or "nulled plugin" distributors
- Use Sentinel for any illegal, malicious, or harmful purpose
- Use a single license across multiple unrelated domains, businesses, or client projects
Violation of any prohibited action results in immediate license termination without refund
Updates & Support
Access to software updates, new features, and customer support requires:
- A valid, active Sentinel+ subscription, or
- A valid lifetime license (if purchased)
Expired or inactive licenses lose access to updates, new features, and priority support. The free version of Sentinel remains functional but does not include Sentinel+ features.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to the Sentinel Refund Policy:
- Non-activated licenses: 100% refund upon request.
- Activated licenses: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You must provide reasonable details so we can determine whether the issue is caused by Sentinel or your environment.
Refunds are not guaranteed once a license has been activated. If fraud, chargebacks, abuse, or misuse is detected, the license may be revoked and future purchases may be blocked.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Sentinel is provided “as is” without warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied.
We cannot be held liable for:
- Website downtime or service interruptions
- Data loss or corruption
- Security breaches unrelated to Sentinel
- Conflicts caused by other plugins, themes, hosting environments, or user modifications
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Your maximum remedy, where applicable, is a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Termination
We may terminate your license immediately and without notice if you:
- Violate any section of this Agreement
- Attempt to bypass license activation or restrictions
- Distribute, leak, or share Sentinel unlawfully
- Misuse Sentinel in a harmful or malicious manner
- Engage in fraudulent activity related to your purchase
Upon termination, you must immediately uninstall Sentinel from all environments and cease all use. No refund will be issued for licenses terminated due to violations.
Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right to update or modify this EULA at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
Continued use of Sentinel after changes have been published signifies your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this Agreement periodically.
