Yes. The activity log, event logging, daily and weekly digests, exports, and REST API are all free with no credit card required. Sentinel+ adds the change on an event, an Incidents page, file diffs, four immediate alerts, and a weekly email for £99/year. Checkout is off until it ships.
No. Sentinel uses batch logging and async processing. Events are queued and written without blocking page loads. Batch frequency is configurable, typically every 30 to 60 seconds. See our docs for performance tuning options.

Everything stays in your WordPress database. Sentinel does not collect or transmit your site activity. Sentinel+ licence validation calls getsentinel.dev when you activate a licence, but your logs never leave your server.
Yes. All data stays on your server. We include IP anonymization, role exclusions, data export, and other tools to help you comply. How you configure them is up to you. See our privacy page for details.
